What this website collects

This website is operated by Benton Rock Customs, a custom carpentry business in Northeast Florida. This page explains what our website collects when you visit or send us a message, and what happens to it.

When you send us a message

The contact form asks for your name, your email, a phone number if you choose to give one, and details about your project. When you send it, that information is emailed to Benton Rock Customs so we can reply. On the way it passes through the cloud hosting and email delivery services that run the form.

We use it to answer your inquiry and to carry out any work you hire us for. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Visit counts

We count visits so we know which pages are being read. The counting uses no cookies. Benton Rock Customs runs it through our website provider, and it records the page you viewed and the site that sent you here.

To estimate how many people visit in a day, it turns your IP address and browser information into a short-lived identifier, using a secret that changes each day. The stored record holds that identifier, not your raw IP address. The identifiers are not used to follow visitors from one day to the next. They are scheduled for automatic deletion, although deletion may not be immediate.

Cookies and fonts

This website sets no cookies and has no advertising or tracking pixels. The typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold from your inquiry, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email deco@bentonrockcustoms.com or call (904) 257-3716.
